Team Caution extended it’s winning streak over Team Danger last week in our biggest game of Capture the Flag yet! We had at least forty people show up, twenty of them voluntary, the other twenty blackmailed, and all had a great time!
THIS WEEK:
Democracy reigns supreme! An overwhelming 72 percent voted for Manhunt over Tag. A heartbreaking clobbering for Tag, I know. But now is time for the mandate of Manhunt. This time, however, we’re getting a few rule changes.
We will split into two teams: One team will hide, the other team will hunt. The hunting team will have a guarded jail. When you’re caught, you head back to the jail. Members of the hiding team can rescue their teammates by a single tag. The team will have an amount of time (to be determined) to catch as many of their opponents as possible. Then we switch it up. Everyone got that so far? Good!
We’ll meet up at 7:30 on 4th Street and Seventh Avenue. Take the F train to Seventh Avenue in Brooklyn and you’ll be on Seventh Avenue and 9th street, so stroll down five blocks. You’ll find us. We’ll be the ones getting beat up by small children and the elderly.
Foot Down Championship
Join us for The New York Open Invitational Foot Down Championships, presented by the Dutch Kill Social Club and sponsered by the letter N.
Compete against mediocre athletes representing 8 different continents.
See of you have what it takes to become the master of foot down.
Foot Down was first utilized as a conflict resolution action between warring members of the Skull and Bones Society. A group of riders decend upon one another in an attempt to cause them to touch their foot to the ground, rendering them out of the game.
Most modern versions of the game are inacted in an all out free for all, with the last one standing crowned the winner.
To enhance authenticity, the Scottish Rites game will also be played, (How the John Birch society and The Project for a New American Century came about) where secret bands are formed in an attempt to bring about a new world biking order.
There will also be a deuling competition to determine the singles champion.
The game requires no equipment, save for a bike and a dream.
Perpare yourself to be the last one riding.
Be there at Union Square North, across from Barnes and Nobles, Wensday July 20th, at 8PM.
All types of bikes and people are welcome to compete for free.
